Global Connect Associates works closely with schools to ensure that Associates are placed in environments where they will achieve the biggest impact. Participating schools and organisations must satisfy eligibility criteria, and must show that the program will provide a strong benefit to the students they serve, and that they will provide the necessary support to enable Associates to achieve.

Associates will join our community of like minded teachers and Alumni, gcaJapan, where they will be connected with members and discuss teaching and living in Japan, complete development exercises and forums and contribute to a grass roots online collaborative community. Of course Associates also have first choice for jobs with our partners. We expect all Associates to actively participate in the community and development activities.
